Four individuals and 15 teams representing nine different countries and nine different states in the U.S. received the 2003 Ring of Quality Award, which recognizes and honors those employees who have set outstanding examples of quality by their performance and leadership. At the awards ceremony, held in conjunction with the Best Practices Symposium at the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort in Stone Mountain, Georgia, company CEO Lou Giuliano inducted the newest class of quality champions. "There is a clear synergy between our efforts to share Best Practices among our many value centers, and our desire to recognize the accomplishments represented by the Ring of Quality Award winners," Giuliano said. "The contributions we celebrate here are an integral part of our comprehensive effort to improve the products and services we provide to our customers. They also represent our commitment to enhance the working environment for all of our employees. By making these improvements, we improve our competitiveness at the same time." |
