ITT Industries corporate colors are gold and gray, but there's a lot of "green" in the company, too. Our company's growing number of "green" projects are documented in the 2002 Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) Report, as are our overall ESH metrics and awards for the year and the ESH goals for the company going forward.

"This report collects many of our successes from the past year, because we believe it's important to document our advances and share best practices within ITT Industries and with other companies committed to making their operations cleaner, safer and more efficient," says Usha Wright, director of Environment, Safety & Health for ITT Industries. "For the first time, the report also includes an ESH Task List that spells out exactly where we are still trying to improve. This gives all of us the opportunity to understand where we need to focus our efforts in the coming years.

The 2002 Report is available online at the ITT Industries website. To minimize the environmental impact, no printed copies were produced. As Wright says, "Zero is a difficult if not impossible goal when it comes to environmental impact and workplace injuries, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't shoot for it in everything we do."
