The site was created by Ashridge Management College in the United Kingdom, where ITT Industries holds its annual Strategic Management Program. The portal is designed to support ITT's Value-Based Leadership Development Program, and includes a large selection of leadership tips, links and self-assessments.

If you haven't already visited the Virtual Learning Portal, it's worth your while. It contains a broad and impressive range of development material, including an extensive collection of learning guides on management and leadership skills, competencies and techniques.  

The portal also contains Infotrac, a large collection of business and management journals, which provides a great way to research any business-related topic. To gain access to this service:

• Enter the Virtual Learning Resource Centre (VLRC) portion of the portal
• Click on the Infotrac button on the left-hand navigation bar
• Select "Ashridge Journal Collection"
