(NYSE: IIN) has appointed Brenda L. Reichelderfer President of the Fluid
Specialty Group, leading providers of engineered valves and switches for
industrial and aerospace applications, products for the marine and leisure
markets, and fluid handling materials for various industrial markets.

development improvement projects will be invaluable in enhancing our
leadership in the specialty products area," said Richard J. Labrecque,

fluid technology business.
Ms. Reichelderfer most recently served as Vice President, Engineering, of
the now divested ITT Automotive Electrical Systems Group.
A 17-year veteran of the company, Ms. Reichelderfer has held a number of
other positions at the company, including Vice President, Integrated Product
Development, at ITT Defense and Electronics, where she implemented world-class
development techniques in segments as varied as semiconductors, connectors,
communications and radar. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Operations
for a $500 million communications/satellite instrumentation division of ITT
Ms. Reichelderfer has received the company's foremost employee honors,
including the Harold S. Geneen Award for excellence in Creative Management and
the company's top award for quality. She is active in various industry
initiatives and played a lead role in the early planning of the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology's Center for Innovation in Product Development, a
joint effort by industry and academia to advance the theory and practice of
product development funded by the National Science Foundations and companies
including ITT Industries.
Ms. Reichelderfer earned a BSEE at Ohio Northern University and is
past-Chair of the Ohio Northern University College of Engineering Advisory
She will be based in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
