ITT showcases innovative products and solutions for rail industry during 2014 InnoTrans International Trade Fair for Transport Technology

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Sept. 22, 2014 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) is an industry leader in providing highly engineered products and services to customers in growing end markets including transportation. This week, the company is showcasing its capabilities at InnoTrans, an international showcase focusing on railway technology that draws more than 125,000 visitors from 140 countries.

ITT designs and manufactures highly engineered technologies for the rail industry, ranging from the newest suspension systems, hydraulic dampers and shock absorbers, to connectors that are used in applications such as engine diagnostics, brake controls, environmental conditioning, passenger display systems, networking and lighting controls.

At InnoTrans, ITT will highlight its KONI brand damper solutions that have been developed to meet the demands of harsh climate conditions. KONI’s Artic Pack is specifically designed to perform well under extremely low temperatures due to the use of customized materials and enhanced protective features. ITT will also spotlight KONI’s Desert Pack, which is especially designed to provide enhanced protection from extremely high temperatures, dust and sand.

ITT will also feature an array of connectors including its ITT Veam FRCIR series and ITT Cannon CA Bayonet connectors, which were recently used to provide a complete connector upgrade for Danish Railway DSB that will help maintain the well-established reliability of DSB railcars. In addition, ITT will highlight its Veam brand High Temperature Bayonet Connectors, which provide advanced interconnect technology to meet the rail industry’s highest safety standards.
