Strategic Council
The Strategic Council's purpose is to set direction and make strategic decisions on a corporate level. The group is led by ITT CEO Steve Loranger and includes the presidents of the company's two business groups and the global heads of finance, human resources, communications, legal, strategy, information technology and corporate responsibility.
Steven R. Loranger
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Steve was chosen to lead ITT in 2004. He brings extensive multi-industry leadership experience to the role and has led ITT through four consecutive years of record growth. A former U.S. Navy pilot, he currently sits on the board of FedEx Corporation.
Angela A. Buonocore
Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer
Angela joined ITT in 2007 from The Pepsi Bottling Group. Drawing on her extensive leadership experience at Fortune 200 companies, she is responsible for the stewardship of ITT's brand and reputation, and employee engagement to achieve business goals.
Aris C. Chicles
Senior Vice President and Director Corporate Strategy and Development
Aris joined ITT in 2006 from American Standard as the company's first director of corporate strategy. Calling on a 20-year career in the field, he has overseen a series of strategic acquisitions and divestitures that has better positioned ITT's business portfolio for growth.
Scott A. Crum
Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources
Scott joined ITT in 2002 from Motorola. His broad range of human resources experience, including global assignments and leadership positions with top commercial and defense companies, is helping him create a world-class human resources organization at ITT.
Ann D. Davidson
Vice President, Corporate Responsibility
Ann joined ITT in 2007 from Thales and in 2008 became the company's first vice president of corporate responsibility. In this role she is responsible for the company's global ethics and compliance programs, international trade compliance, environmental health, safety and security, as well as corporate policy management.
Frank R. Jimenez
Vice President and General Counsel
Frank joined ITT in 2009 and has global responsibility for all legal matters for the company. Before joining ITT, Frank was General Counsel of the Navy, one of seven Senate-confirmed Pentagon civilians of four-star equivalent rank overseeing the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Gretchen W. McClain
Senior Vice President and President of ITT Fluid and Motion Control
Gretchen joined ITT in 2005 from Honeywell. Earlier with NASA, she played a pivotal role in the development and launch of the International Space Station. With her deep engineering and operational experience, she is now leading ITT's portfolio of commercial businesses.
David F. Melcher
Vice President and President of ITT Defense Electronics & Services
Dave joined ITT in 2008 and was named to his current role in December. Before joining ITT, Dave had an accomplished 32-year career in the U.S. military, rising to the rank of three-star general. With his unique perspective and deep leadership expertise, Dave is positioning ITT to meet the future needs of its defense customers.
Denise L. Ramos
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Denise joined ITT in 2007 from Furniture Brands. She brings a broad range of financial experience, having held executive positions in the consumer and oil industries. In her current role, she is responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting for ITT's global operations.
Carol J. Zierhoffer
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Carol joined ITT in 2008 from Northrop Grumman. She is responsible for the planning, alignment, governance and delivery of all information technology products and services for ITT. Carol and her team work across all areas of the company to ensure that technology is a key enabler of growth.
