Strategic Council

The Strategic Council's purpose is to set direction and make strategic decisions on a corporate level. The group is led by ITT CEO Steve Loranger and includes the presidents of the company's three business groups and the global heads of finance, human resources, corporate relations, legal and strategy.

Steven R. Loranger

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Steve was chosen to lead ITT in 2004. He brings extensive multi-industry leadership experience to the role and has led ITT through four consecutive years of record growth. A former U.S. Navy pilot, he currently sits on the board of FedEx Corporation.

Angela A. Buonocore

Vice President and Director of Corporate Relations

Angela joined ITT in March 2007 from The Pepsi Bottling Group. Drawing on her extensive leadership experience at Fortune 200 companies, she is responsible for the stewardship of ITT's brand and reputation, and employee engagement to achieve business goals.

Aris C. Chicles

Vice President and Director Corporate Strategy and Development

Aris joined ITT in June 2006 from American Standard as the company's first director of corporate strategy. Calling on a 20-year career in the field, he has overseen a series of strategic acquisitions and divestitures that has better positioned ITT's business portfolio for growth.

Scott A. Crum

Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources

Scott joined ITT in 2002 from Motorola. His broad range of human resources experience, including global assignments and leadership positions with top commercial and defense companies, is helping him create a world-class human resources organization at ITT.

Nicholas P. Hill

Senior Vice President and President of ITT Motion & Flow Control

Nick joined ITT in 1979. He started his ITT career in marketing and sales in the United Kingdom before moving on to run several of the company's global businesses. He is now leading the Motion & Flow Control group on a trajectory of significant growth.

Vincent A. Maffeo

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Vince joined ITT in 1977. A member of the bars in multiple states and the U.S. Supreme Court, he has global responsibility for all legal matters for the company. Vince serves on the boards of directors for the Fund for Modern Courts and the Pro Bono Partnership, and is a trustee at Sacred Heart University.

Gretchen W. McClain

Senior Vice President and President of ITT Fluid Technology

Gretchen joined ITT in 2005 from Honeywell. Earlier with NASA, she oversaw the development and launch of the International Space Station. Her deep engineering and operational experience is now helping ITT become a global water leader.

Denise L. Ramos

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Denise joined ITT in 2007 from Furniture Brands. She brings a broad range of financial experience, having held executive positions in the consumer and oil industries. In her current role, she is responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting for ITT's global operations.

Henry J. Driesse

Interim President of ITT Defense Electronics & Services

Hank joined ITT in 1981. He has spent the bulk of his time with the company in the defense industry, including five years at the helm of ITT's defense business from 2000 to 2005. During that period, Driesse drove significant growth initiatives and operational improvements, more than doubling the defense business revenues and tripling the segment’s operating income.
