ITT Life Line

ITT plays an integral role in the growth and progress of the world we live in. The "life line" is designed to help make both our internal and external communications as well-engineered as our products and services.

The life line is a continually evolving graphic vehicle. Its function is to demonstrate the range and depth of ITT by telling the story of our products, our people and our involvement in the world around us. Its built-in flexibility allows us to react to opportunities, while using existing photography, stock imagery and product shots. Images within the life line are black and white.

The assembly formula is simple: product/people/planet. Blocks of ITT Gold are inserted at random intervals within the life line and overlay the images to create a sense of movement, depth and energy. The images should not overlap. They should not feel disorganized. The life line must contain at least three images.

The ITT life line is used on applications such as print collateral, Web sites, tradeshow exhibits and vehicles. It must comfortably live with product information, headlines, images, signature and tagline. It is a secondary element and may not be used as a dominant design element.

The exception to this rule is if the life line stands alone, such as a banner or sticker. In this instance, it must include the ITT signature and tagline.

A template of the life line has been made available, to download click below:

The life line may be used as is or its images can be replaced within the template.
The blocks of ITT Gold that overlay the images can then be adjusted accordingly.
