Basic Page Structure

The basic structure of an ITT Web page is exhibited here. Each page is divided into several key areas.

The header always contains the ITT signature and tagline, with the primary navigation bar positioned below.

The content area is used for the feature story, special features and stock quotes.

At the bottom of the layout is the footer which contains a secondary navigation bar and secondary content.

Demonstrated here is an example of how content can be placed within the main areas.

Shown here are some specifications for the corporate home page.
ITT Web sites must always adhere to a 640 x 480 minimum screen size. They should never employ horizontal scrolling. Vertical scrolling should be limited to a maximum depth of 3 pages.

These specifications establish the look and feel of the corporate home page.

This example is for demonstration purposes only and does not represent an actual web site design.
