FUTURE GROWTH
ITT has helped the U.S. and its allies defend themselves for more than six decades. From 2001 to 2005, we increased our annual Defense revenues by more than the rate of growth of the U.S. defense budget over that same period. With defense spending expected to slow in the years ahead, we expect to achieve revenue growth by evolving existing technologies to meet new mission criteria, pursuing adjacent markets such as environmental protection and homeland security, and expanding our geographic reach into the European and Asian markets.
