2005 Ring of Quality Winners
Celebrating the People Who "Make It Better"

The ring remains unbroken. For 35 consecutive years, ITT Industries has been recognizing the "craftspeople" throughout the company, the employees who work tirelessly to make our products and processes better.

On May 25 in Dallas, Texas, the latest group of individuals and teams were recognized with prestigious Ring of Quality awards.

"There is an important reason we pay so much attention to our quality efforts," CEO Steve Loranger wrote in his message to this year's winners. "It makes a real difference to our customers. They see it in faster delivery times, in more dependable products, in better service, in better cycle times. They notice our ability to get new products to market before our competition can do so. They pay attention to our lower defect rates.

"I also see a difference in the attitude and enthusiasm of our employees when they know they are part of an organization that pays attention to quality," he continued. "Our employees want to deliver good, well-made products and impeccable service to customers. They enjoy being involved with winning teams and individuals such as those we recognize with this year's Ring of Quality Award."
