MILAN, June 11, 2010 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced that it is the front axle brake pad supplier for the 17- and 18-inch high performance braking systems of the new BMW "5 series." ITT's Motion Technologies business will produce 400,000 brake pads per year for this platform over the next six years, both for the Original Equipment Manufacturer and Original Equipment Service.
Among the main characteristics of the brake pads are reduced vibration and noise, high-level performance and comfort, both in standard and stress conditions.
