Event to explore impact of pump efficiency on manufacturing and environmental results

SENECA FALLS, N.Y., Sept. 14, 2011 — ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) announced today that it will offer a public webinar on industrial pump efficiency. The significant impact of pump efficiency and reliability on manufacturing costs and plant operations will be explained in a global webcast on Thursday, Sept. 15, by Mike Pemberton, manager of energy performance services for ITT. Hosted by Plant Engineering magazine, the 2:00 p.m. EDT webcast, “Unthrottle Your Profits: Tips for Boosting Pump Efficiency, Reliability and Process Control,” will be moderated by Bob Vavra of the magazine’s editorial staff.

The event will address more than 200 registered attendees worldwide, primarily plant, engineering and maintenance professionals, who are interested in lowering manufacturing and maintenance costs while improving process control.

This session is part of a series of webinars ITT has organized in partnership with trade publications to educate its current and future customers on aspects of process improvement.
