ITT named top corporate citizen in U.S. government contracting; Also wins 2011 International Stevie® Award for global citizenship in Asia
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., August 2, 2011 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced that it has received multiple honors for its worldwide corporate citizenship efforts. ITT has recently been named one of the top 15 Best Citizens in Government Contracting by CR Magazine, and it has also been honored for the work of ITT Watermark, its signature global corporate citizenship program, with an International Stevie® Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand by the 2011 International Business Awards?.

ITT Watermark was recognized for its efforts to provide access to safe water and sanitation to children and families in Asia, among other developing areas around the world. In Asia, ITT Watermark partners with Water For People, Mercy Corps and Planet Water Foundation to provide safe water and sanitation to local communities and disaster victims. ITT Watermark’s work in Asia is one of several focus areas for the program, which seeks to provide and protect safe water resources for people in need. In its first three years (2008-2010), ITT Watermark impacted more than 500,000 beneficiaries.
