ITT enhances services, support for China aerospace customers

Agreement with GAMECO will extend repair and overhaul services to customers in region


VALENCIA, Calif, Feb. 18, 2014 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced it is extending its global aerospace service and support in China by adding Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Co. Ltd. (GAMECO) as an Authorized Repair Station. The agreement broadens the market reach for the company's Control Technologies business, which through its Aerospace Controls organization, manufactures high-quality and highly reliable valves, actuators, pressure and temperature switches, and pumps for aerospace applications.

"This agreement with GAMECO gives us greater global capabilities and is strategically focused on enhancing our level of support to aircraft owners and operators throughout China."

The products that will be serviced at the GAMECO facility are commonly used on Boeing and Airbus aircraft, and under the terms of the agreement, GAMECO will serve as an authorized service provider in China for a number of products installed on Boeing aircraft including the B737, B747, B757, B767 and B777. GAMECO will gradually increase its portfolio of product capability to support the entire line of ITT's aerospace controls products. This additional growth will further enhance GAMECO's service capabilities for additional aircraft applications including the new aircraft platforms of B787 and A350.
