ITT to Showcase Comprehensive Portfolio of Vibration, Motion Control, and Processing Technologies at PACK EXPO International

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., October 12, 2018 – ITT Inc. (NYSE: ITT) and its Bornemann, Compact Automation and Enidine brands will showcase a wide portfolio of packaging industry solutions at the 2018 PACK EXPO International, Oct. 14-17 in Chicago, IL.

ITT's highly engineered energy absorption, vibration isolation, motion control and processing solutions are designed to provide reliability and extended service life for the most demanding packaging and automation applications. The company will highlight new and expanded technologies in hygienic pumps, drum unloading systems, motion control products for conveyor and robotic systems, and shock absorption and vibration isolation products that help to improve equipment uptime, throughput and safety in manufacturing environments. These latest innovations include:
  • Bornemann BINEM: Previewing exclusively at PACK EXPO and coming in 2019, the Bornemann BINEM is capable of emptying bins, drums and containers with less than 1 percent product waste. This advanced design is an ideal solution to empty products that are not self-leveling or cannot be handled by a drum pump or suction wand. BINEM is perfect for applications such as tomato paste, chocolate spread, cookie filling, peanut butter and meat paste.
  • Compact Automation Composite Cylinders: A new design innovation combines Compact's small cylinder size in a powerful, lightweight, corrosion-resistant material. The Composite Cylinder Series is a linear actuator with a durable hollow rod option enabling use in vacuum pick-up applications in end-of-arm tooling. Designed in an equivalent size to Compact's standard inch and metric series, the Composite Cylinders are 25-30 percent lighter than standard cylinders. This solution makes it possible for operators to either downsize a robotic application or simply handle heavier loads. The cylinder's design also features a corrosion-resistant plastic, FDA-approved food-grade material ideal for challenging environments.
  • Enidine ECO Series Shock Absorber: The packaging industry's first shock absorber with an environmentally friendly ROHS compliant design that stands up to the harsh environments faced by today's most critical packaging applications. Both adjustable and non-adjustable models have the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of operating conditions and cover a variety of application input parameters.

PACK EXPO is the world's largest, most comprehensive processing and packaging trade show bringing together both suppliers and buyers to discover the latest innovations, technologies and efficiencies in the packaging and industrial automation markets globally. ITT representatives will be available throughout PACK EXPO International at booths E9443 (Bornemann), and N6333 (Enidine and Compact Automation).
