ITT Brands, Including Recently Acquired Micro-Mode, to Showcase High-Reliability Interconnect Solutions and Control Components at 2023 Paris Air Show

Monday, 5 Jun 2023

STAMFORD, Conn., June 5, 2023 – ITT Inc.’s (NYSE: ITT) Enidine®, Cannon®, Aerospace Controls® and Matrix Composites® brands, along with recently acquired Micro-Mode, will showcase their industry leading portfolios of interconnect solutions and control aerospace technologies for commercial and military applications at the 2023 Paris Air Show. These highly engineered customizable solutions enhance passenger comfort, operational performance and durability in harsh environments. Attendees of the show will see a complete display of these innovative solutions at booth #A148 in the Paris–Le Bourget Airport from June 19-25.

“From cutting-edge seat recline technology to electric aircraft power solutions, ITT is continuously seeking ways to enhance the performance of commercial and military aircraft,” said Ryan Flynn, ITT's senior vice president and president of Connect and Control Technologies. “At the Paris Air Show 2023, we look forward to showcasing our innovative approaches to improving the safety, sustainability and operability of today’s modern aircraft.”

The new portfolio additions that the below ITT brands will highlight at the 2023 Paris Air Show include:

Enidine , a premier supplier of engineered mechanical shock absorbers and vibration isolation and noise attenuation products, will debut the new Economy Series UltraLOC™ Seat Recline System, UltraFLEX™ Cable and UltraLOC™ Backlit LED Button Assemblies technologies. The products offer ease of aircraft seat installation and maintenance and convenient seat recline adjustments for commercial aircraft applications. Enidine will also display High Capacity Laminated (HCL) Bearings and Frahm Dampers, compact solutions that regulate vibrations throughout the rotorcraft to ensure smoother and safer flights.

Aerospace Controls , a leader in actuators, fluid control devices, noise abatement and other aerospace products, will display the Modulating Control Actuator (MCA), which efficiently manages flow control applications for aircraft fuel, air and thermal closed loop systems. It will also display its Ridge Seal Valves, which utilize patent pending, enhanced seal performance to eliminate continuous wear to rotary actuation systems, resulting in longer operational life and reduced maintenance.

Matrix Composites , an expert at providing resin transfer molding composites, will feature its innovative Closed Mold Composite processing for Composite Engine Components. This process produces net molded critical surfaces for IML/OML (Inner Mold Line/Outer Mold Line) features on current and next-generation platforms. This process is compatible with standard temperature resins and high-temp resins such as BMI (Bismaleimide) and Polyimide.

Cannon , an interconnect solutions pioneer for air, sea and space applications, will display its full range of vibration-resistant circular connectors and panel or box-mount rectangular solutions, including its Combo-D connectors with High Efficiency Power (HEP) Contacts. These compact, high-power interconnects distribute up to 75% more power than standard D-subs and are ideal for electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications. Cannon will also display the ARINC 801 fiber optic connector and Quadrax Contact System, which provide defense and commercial aircraft operators with the reliable transmission of critical data, video and signal up to 10 Gb/s and 2.5 Gb/s, respectively, in harsh environments.

Micro-Mode , which ITT acquired in May, will showcase its leading portfolio of high-bandwidth RF and hermetic connectors for mission-critical radar, satellite and smart defense systems. Micro-Mode has been qualified on numerous U.S. space and defense programs for more than 30 years and maintains a highly defensible niche with sole source positions on attractive U.S. defense programs.
