ITT Debuts Latest Innovations in Motion Control Components at ProMat 2023

Wednesday, 15 Mar 2023

STAMFORD, Conn., March 15, 2023 – ITT Inc.'s (NYSE: ITT) Enidine® and Compact® brands will showcase their portfolios of reliable, customized motion control solutions at booth #N8336 during ProMat 2023, which will be held at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago on March 20-23. Visitors will learn how highly engineered components from Enidine and Compact deliver greater safety, reliability and uptime for material handling and automation applications. The brands are part of ITT's Connect & Control Technologies (CCT) segment, based in Irvine, Ca.

Enidine Solutions

The Enidine brand's broad product offerings include shock absorbers, rate controls, air springs, wire rope isolators and heavy industry buffers that serve the industrial, aerospace, defense, infrastructure and rail markets.

"Our Enidine portfolio continues to expand and diversify with the introduction of three new solutions at ProMat 2023," Executive Director and General Manager, CCT Industrial Greg Herman said. "These innovations in energy absorption and vibration isolation products help improve productivity and efficiency for a wide range of material handling and automation applications."

Enidine's new product introductions at ProMat 2023 include:

  • OEM Extended Range Rear Adjustable (OEMXTRA) Shock Absorber – a fully threaded rear adjustable mid-bore shock absorber. The OEMXTRA's rear adjustment allows for more mounting options than previous side dial units. With the ability to easily change the damping force, this new shock absorber can accommodate a wide range of operating conditions. The product will launch in the second half of 2023.
  • Platinum Extended Range (PXR) Series Non-Adjustable Shock Absorber – features a self-compensating, small package design that provides energy absorption in low velocity and high-drive force applications. This series of shock absorbers is corrosion resistant and nickel-plated, with a larger piston button, five pre-defined extended damping performance options, and multiple mounting thread options for robust application performance.
  • Corrosion Resistance Series (CRS) Stainless Steel Shock Absorbers – adjustable and non-adjustable small bore shock absorbers that provide an eco-friendly solution for various harsh environment industrial, food grade and medical washdown applications with accessories in stainless steel and food-grade hydraulic fluid available upon request.

Compact Solutions

A leading global pneumatic cylinder manufacturer, Compact produces small, highly configurable products that serve various industrial markets. With more standard options than any other actuation and air cylinder offering, Compact's unique online configuration tools enable quick modification of standard products based on unique application requirements.

"This year at ProMat, we are excited to showcase our next-gen, industry leading innovations in highly configurable pneumatic cylinders, actuators and grippers that provide trusted and reliable industrial solutions," said Greg Herman. "Attendees can experience how our latest models of small and reliable components increase equipment uptime and improve safety, facilitating continued growth for our customers."

Compact's featured products at ProMat 2023 include:

  • Round Line Stainless Steel Cylinders – small, configurable, low-maintenance cylinders for washdown and harsh environment applications featuring a rolled body construction that provides increased reliability. A wide range of fully customizable models and options, along with multiple accessories, make it easy for end users to create the ideal cylinder for their needs.
  • Turn-Act Rotary Vane Actuators – comprised of a single moving part to produce rotary motion with zero backlash, 100% repeatability, and continuous full torque. These pneumatic actuators feature infinite rotational adjustment capabilities, making them a smart choice for equipment operators and facilities management.
  • Magnetic Grippers – pneumatically operated grippers that incorporate a magnet to pick up ferromagnetic materials, such as iron or steel, with grip forces that range from 20 to 130 pounds. Ideal for feeders, separators, and end-of-arm tooling, the grippers continue to hold items even with loss of operational air pressure for safer operation of equipment.
